Snoozeking Music is my music publishing company (ASCAP)/record company based in Cleveland, Ohio. It serves as a writing and recording space for several ongoing projects.
This site is intended to provide news about those projects, discussions about the creative process of songwriting, recording and production, and opinions of music-related gear and literature.
Snoozeking is involved with 1-2 releases each year. Current projects and artists include:
- drunkdude69 – Cleveland-based band delivering a tasty mixture of rock and funk with hints of ska and punk
- Thomas Reed Smith – singer/songwriter based in northeast Ohio, creating acoustic rock music
- Skinny Moo – the “original” cover band recently selected by Cleveland magazine as one of the best bands in town
I’ve been fortunate to be making music for a long time now – from old Sony reel-to-reel taping to cassette 4-track recording, ADATs and Pro Tools. I hope some of the information here is useful (or at least entertaining) to other people who write, record and release music.
